Radishes

We grew a small patch of radishes last year (2025) and were pleased with them so this year we are going a bit bigger.

All Winter I had a plastic cold frame covering a section of a raised bed to get the soil ready. I late February of this year (2026) I planted 3 rows of radishes. Kept them moist with a squirt bottle.

Then on March 3rd I saw some blooms coming through. Very exciting.

Kept squirting them with water everyday and they started coming right along.

This is a picture of them on April 2nd:

Very exciting. I will keep them under the cold frame until they are ready to harvest.

Just waiting for Spring to arrive

Spring!!!
Spring!!!
